Active Leisure Events is a small but well reputed company running a series of running events in and around Chester, England.
Their races include the Chester Marathon which offers a unique metric marathon (26.2km) race distance - the perfect distance if you've done a half marathon, and are building up to your first marathon.
Their races have won a number of awards over the years including The Running Awards award for the best marathon (with less than 5,000 participants) in 2018, and 2019.
