The IAAF Bronze Label race takes place in Changzhou (within the Jiangsu province) on the Eastern coast of China.
The city in generally warm and humid on race day.
Visitors can enjoy a variety of parks and lakes (including the Taihu lake around which the race is run) as well as a visit to the China Dinosaur Park (if you fit into the niche of dinosaur loving runners).
