Run on Saint Silvester's Day in Sao Paulo, Brazil continuously since 1925.

The length of the race has changed over the years, as has the time of day at which it is run. As of 2020, the race is 15km.

The race is run in Brazilian summer heat so is not one for the feint of heart.
