Kosice Peace Marathon

An incredibly long running marathon having been run continuously since 1924. This makes it the oldest marathon in Europe and the second oldest marathon in the world. The organisers pride themselves on having had an accurate marathon distance course since inception.

The race takes place in Kosice in the east of Slovakia. It is run on flat, closed roads and has been awarded a World Athletics Silver Label.
