Marathon Du Medoc

The Marathon du Médoc route takes runners through the vineyards of Médoc in the Gironde department of France.

It is not the race to do if you are looking for a PB. Along the course an assortment of food/wine/musical based activities are put on for competitors. These include wine/cheese/oyster/steak tastings and a variety of musical acts.

The race has a very friendly, laid back aura surrounding it. Everyone is welcome, most wear fancy dress, and you will probably end up taking your time making your way around the course.
