Pyonyang Marathon

This race offers a truly unique opportunity to visit the North Korean capital and see what the city has to offer.

Participants can only take part through an official tour organiser, Koryo Tours, and as such one is somewhat constrained in where they can stay, and what they can do. If you do want to take part, most tours leave from Beijing or Shanghai.

The race holds a World Athletics Bronze Label, and is run on an IMS certified course that starts and finishes in the King Il Sung Stadium
