The World Athletics Gold Label race attracts 15,000 runners to the closed roads of Cape Town, South Africa.
As well as the marathon, there is also a 10km and 5km Peace Run as well as a 22km and 12km Peace Trail Run. It is a packed weekend with something for everyone.
The event is certified carbon neutral.
