The Gold Coast

This race weekend takes place in Queensland, Australia (The Gold Coast) and offers loads of races across a number of distances.
The main event is of course the marathon but there is also a half marathon, a 10k, wheelchair events, and events for the youngsters.
If you associate Australia with sweltering heat you can take solace in the knowledge that for Australia the weather at this time of year is as cool as it gets. Temperatures are mild, and humidity is low.
The course takes in the beautiful surf beaches that this world famous holiday destination is known for.
