Run since 2015 the London Winter Run is a 10k event that takes place in London in support of a number of fantastic charities including Cancer Research UK.
The race starts at Trafalgar Square and finishes at Downing Street, passing by a number of famous landmarks on the way. Snow zones and an abundance of penguins are what make this race a 'Winter Run' noting that the UK does not have a particularly good record for snow in Winter.
Close to 20,000 runners take part each year - this is certainly a popular race, and whilst it is cold... why not embrace it.
This race has won no awards that we know of.
