The Mad Dog 10k is an extremely popular 10k race that always sells out extremely quickly.

The race takes place on the Southport shoreline and attracts a small, but passionate field of 3,500 each year. It is an extremely welcoming event with fantastic support along the course.

The event actively supports a number of fantastic charities. The good causes and their somewhat mad branding combined manage to persuade people to dress up and really get involved in embracing the atmosphere of the event. If you take part, you will have a lot of fun :)

As a result, the race has received a number of awards including the Running Awards Best 10k in 2019.
