The Bogota Half Marathon was one of only nine races awarded an IAAF Platinum Label in 2020. It is the only half marathon to currently hold the label.
Unfortunately however the 2020 event was cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The award is granted based on a number of factors including organisation, city infrastructure, and the composition of the field. Needless to say, the award is a great indicator that this is a fantastic half marathon to choose to take on.
Combine the race with a visit to Colombia. Post race visit the Catedral de Sel or climb Monserrate (if you are still up for it).
