Nottingham, England

29th September 2019

The Robin Hood Half Marathon is a single lap undulating course taking in a number of Nottingham's famous sites.

The race starts and finishes at Victoria Embankment passing Nottingham Castle, Woolaton Park, and the Robin Hood statue.

The organisers have been organising races in Nottingham for 40 years. They previously offered a full marathon event but it was scrapped after the 2018 event.

There is however a fun 1.5 mile mini marathon along the River Trent for the young ones.

Woolaton Park is home to Woolaton Hall which you can visit whilst in the area. If you want to try something a but more adventurous head to the national white water center at Holme Pierrepont.
